If u take another look at JUNGIAN SYMBOLISM IN ASTROLOGY u may find that u

know more ab astr than u think. anyone w/a good grasp of Jung's archetypal

contents of psyche is 1/2 way there. once u have learned - memorized the

glyps of planets n signs, the quickest way is to learn what parts of the body

they rule.

2. then u can ask yrself what does my heart or my nerv system etc. CONTRIBUTE

to the whole? u will then find w/in yrself the process ruled by that planet

also functions in psyche. just take 1 thing at a time n use it to make

connections.

3. example: mercury rules Gemini n virgo. gemini is an air sign, virgo,

earth. the glyph for gem=II [twins] 2's. the process of merc=communicating.

what wld it rule in body: nerv system, brain, hands, fingers, tongue. wh we

can speak we use our hands. now look ar the house what do we have that

commun? newsppers, books, pens, pencils notes etc. all ruled by merc n

gemini. in psyche - the tens of opposites. in myth over 200 ex world over

starting w/epic of Gilgames, n cain n abel, down to mutt n jeff etc. rival

bros/best buddies - the stock of comedy. archetype wh pos=psychopomp; neg,

Trickster but not evil - Til Eulenspiegelm, bugs bunny etc.

words, lang, puns, punct marks n on n on. just spend a few minutes a day

NOTICING. children, puer aeternus, peter pan, jokesters. think of the gems u

know are they big/small? is there a gift w/words, fun, indecision,

fecklessness. scattetred, loveable, youthful?

if u th of tel, radio, comp - they are Uranus, higher oct of merc n use inv

energy.

the imp th is that merc is hermaphroditic or asexual, neutral in PROCESS not

people. it links the pairs of planets like shoelaces n hermes carries a

cuduceus n has a hat for invisibility n wings on his feet - symbolic of

THOUGHTS wh are mercifully invisible.

Venus relates; merc our intelligence puts 2 n2 togeth.

so, Sara don't get lost in bks ab - ground yr learning w/in yrself.

astr=like cooking. if u know what flour, milk eggs, bk powd n vanilla are NOT

going to make beef bourgignon, u will see what i men. as u read this the

ingred are in yr head not in the comp - so if u understand the PROCESS u can

apply it bec no 2 chts are ever the same.
