The antibiotics should have taken care of the strep throat too. Your throat might just be sore from all the post nasal drip from your sinuses. I hope you feel better soon.

Uhh, I just came off of an antibotic 5 days ago for a sinus infection, what are the odds of me having strep throat? I have coughed soo much that my rib cage hurts. I have slept on and off all day which is good, my sinus's are draining like crazy which is causing the cough, I have been taking meds for a sore throat thinking it's just sore due to sinus drainage, but the sorry (TMI) stuff I'm coughing up is a very different taste to it. I think I'm going to hit the express care tomorrow. The cough has my asthma bark to it but I don't feel tight and my numbers are in the high yellow. I'm so glad my boys aren't home for the weekend, I sent dh out of here about 5 to his company's Christmas gathering for the managers,I wasn't up to going. I swear if my luck wasn't bad here lately I wouldn't have any luck at all!
