Guest guest
Mygirlfriend does my head in. She's on them and she says they work and she thinks that I should take them for my difficulties. I have told that not even the drug compnaies can prove that they are more efective than placebo's, that they appear to make depresssion worse in the long run for most people, can cause rapid cycling (a severe from of bipolar) in 1 in 4 users, and that they cause peramnent sexual dysfunction in many others as well. Then she say's, oh well, as you have PSSD now you might as take them. But they don't work on me I tell her, to which she adds, you sometimes have to try a few to find the right one. I have told her about the twitching I got which went on for 2 years and she say's but she has always had twitches too, even before taking antideprsants, so it isn't harmful. Then I tell her how my hands would cramp up and stick to things like door handles and my feet used like they were sticking to the floor like everything was covered in glue which lasted for months after stopping the meds. I then say to her that my body felt as if there was 1000's of tiny insects crawling through it which really scared me and went this on for months too. But guess what, she just starts laughing because she thinks I'm exagerating and that I can be a hypochrondriac even though we have never had sex. As far as she is concerned these drugs are completely harmless because doctor's prescribe them as medicines. She believes her doctor more more than me. I have a hunch that this is the view that the majority of the public take. Guest guest
You should relax, if only after 3 months you're starting to feel better, eventually it will come back to being normal.
