Guest guest
Dear Schia, the bioforce product is now called Petaforce, Helen. butterbur in tincture form > Does anyone know where I can get butterbur tincture? Apparently bioforce used to do a petasan' tincture which was butterbur with viscum but have now discontinued it. A patient of mine has had great success with that mix for her fibroids and would like some more! > > Any info greatfully received! > > Schia > Schia MNIMH > Highbury, London > schia.mitchell@... > > >
Guest guest
You're right, butterbur does contain pyrrolizidines and bioforce (or someone similar) has patented the extraction process so no-one else can do it I understand! Re: butterbur in tincture form Hi Schia, Is it not high in pyrrolizidines? My impression was that the Bioforce tinctures had been through some weird procedure to remove the alkaloids, so a normal tincture would not do. I'm quite prepared to stand corrected if others know more though. love Robyn " schia.mitchell " wrote: > > Does anyone know where I can get butterbur tincture? Guest guest
Thanks, that's really useful! I will call bioforce to see if they still sell it - perhaps as petaforce as suggested by Helen. Will keep you posted! Schia Schia MNIMH Highbury, London schia.mitchell@... Re: butterbur in tincture form > > Hi Schia, > > Is it not high in pyrrolizidines?
