I also want to make it clear that I think Suzanne Colson's research was

spectacular. Her qualitative research methods and her observations WERE

important. I think it is also great that her research has SPREAD the concepts.

I just think we go a bit too far when we then throw out everything else we know

about positioning when the " next big thing " comes along. We need to maintain

all the tools we can in our box and use them wisely and judiciously. When

observational and qualitative research becomes a " method " that we need to be

" certified " in I think it is a big much.
