Yes, I thought about the tongue. Like I said, this was at an LLL meeting, mom doesn't even know I'm an IBCLC and it really wasn't appropriate to try to do some kind of group consult. <vbg>

She has seen/is seeing an IBCLC, who I'm sure has looked at the tongue. And maybe the palate isn't as high on digital exam as it looked from afar. at least LLL is a place where I can suggest medihoney on one, coconut oil on the other. Where I work, I'm not sure what they'd say should I suggest that. I'll have to ask!
