Dear Dorothee,

Just have a look to this page of the CNRS Glossary of Synonyms :

http://dico.isc.cnrs.fr/dico/tr/chercher_en?r=pod

You'll see that nacelle is given as a synonym of " pod " , which confirms that

this is a backtranslation, with all its defaults, to begin with the wrong

term chosen as a " coup de dictionnaire " :-)) I hope you understand what I

mean. My proposition of translation lies on a mistranslation, which is the

real problem here. That's very simple, but I'm not sure that I use the right

terms to be understood.

Re: Fr>En Term: Nacelle avec Matrigel

Hello Dorothy,

Usually " nacelle " would be " bucket " , as used in a centrifuge - but it

seems a little strange to be filling it with Matrigel. Not impossible

though, I guess.
