Guest guest
Hi Mel, I'm laughing like a maniac at the thought!!!! (actually, I'm a gutless wonder- I can't even face telling my own parents and brothers about this. Geez, shame is such a stupid emotion, but I can't help it- but I s'pose it's also for self-preservation). You know that character on Little Britain, called " Bubbles Devere " I think. It was funny, but actually a little too close to the truth (visually, that is)! I actually have purposely not seen my own MIL for a couple of years, as I've got bigger, as I know she'll start filling my ears with how wonderful the CSIRO diet is, that I should go to a health farm and detox my liver and how she pigged out on an extra cup of green tea the other day.... she used to work for a Craig, so she thinks she has all of the answers. It really gives me the willies!!!! (I felt so embarrased yesterday at the funeral- I tried to hide from the cameras etc, these things really get tongues wagging, and I know what they say. Families- it's no wonder I live in a city where most of mine AREN'T!) (Ashbury)
