Guest guest
Does anyone think it's possible for a 6 year old to accurately use a peak flow meter? My son is 6 and he has asthma and I actually pulled his peak flow meter out this morning and I blew it in. It's kind of a hard way to blow in it and I don't know if he can do it. His attacks are going really bad right now and I'm once again getting frustrated and want something done. His ped is great, but I'm thinking of taking him to an allergist and a pulmonary doctor?? Is that what they are? I want someone who specializes in this stuff. We've been going through this for 4 years now. We had it under control for the past few years, but lately, it's just getting out of control. I think he becomes immuned to the medications at times. Do you think this can happen? And I want to be able to use the peak flow meter, but don't know if it will be accurate, cause i " m not sure I can tell he's doing it right or not. a >From: duca112@... >Reply-To: asthma >To: asthma >Subject: Neat Discovery! >Date: Fri, 23 Feb 2001 16:46:54 -0000 > >Hey everyone! > >Look at me.
