Hello Shelia,

I¡¯ m native speaker of spanish and I don¡¯t think there is a formal

abbreviation for that word, because it applies to certain words, particularly

those which are frequent or refer to a mesure, etc.

Anyhow I checked it out in ¡°Ortograf¨ªa de la lengua espaola¡± from RAE (Real

Academia Espaola)and I didn¡¯t find it.

abbreviation of the word ¡°contador¡± (acountant) and according to his answer

you shoul use a comprehensible form for ¡°mensaje¡±.

casos, si es muy necesario y con tal que sea f¨¢cilmente entendible, se puede

inventar una cualquiera; p. ej. ¡°ctdor¡±.
