Guest guest
The SSRI's definitely affect the liver. That is the main reason I quit them. I was tested for vitamin and mineral deficiencies, which included a liver enzyme blood test. My enzyme levels were elevated 6x normal. They should be in the 40-50 range and they were in the 260-290 range. The doctor made me come off them since they could find no other reason for the elevation. I weened off over 5 1/2 mos. and my liver enzymes returned to normal about 2-3 mos. after taking my last pill. Unfortunately, that is also when the PSSD started. > > > > > > Let's get things straight.SSRI-s act on serotonine which will affect many other chemicals in the brain. > > > So we need to fix the cause not the symptoms of PSSD. > > > Since I quit Paxil cold turkey I have slowly developed panic attacks and 1 year 3 months off the drug I now have panic disorder. > > > The symptoms of low serotonine fits me therefore I was planning to boost my serotonine levels but then read about how low levels can cause premature ejaculation. > > > Well in my case I had the first time sexual activity in my life 1 month ago and lasted for 2 and a half hours... > > > I guess that means I have high serotonine?
