Guest guest
Laurie, Maybe you could alternate between different activities, and not let yourself do any one activity long enough to get tired of it. Every few weeks you could have a whole new activity to look forward to. For example, instead of joining a gym (long commitment), take an exercises class that lasts just a few weeks. Then after that is over switch to a completely new activity like biking for a few weeks, or take a dance class. Or, if you are walking around your neighborhood, switch to walking at a park or nature reserve for a while, or in a mall. Another thought is to invite different people to join you from time to time just to change things a little. Hope that helps some. Guest guest
Hi Laurie, Sounds like you work best under some pressure, leaving things to the last minute that is. You probably have done well under pressure, working against the clock with minutes to spare. The time you defined as procrastination was more likely a hint to your subconscious mind to solve the problem in the time required just before the last minute for completion. It requires clear thinking and using skill wisely. Sort of like emergency services workers such as firefighters, para medics and other things like tax deadlines, or sales deadlines, production deadlines, or trouble shooter for computer systems. It's actually a way of life that alot of people enjoy.
