Below is an interesting documentary on stress and how it affects our bodies and brains. Stress damages and shrinks the brain which can lead to depression and anxiety in later life which is often chronic. Often, when pregnant mothers are stressed this affects the baby's brain too and this can predispose us to depression and anxiety later in life also. Perhaps some of us who got PSSD might have already had diminished brains due to chronic stress and the drugs were the last straw. But don't despair because our brains and body can heal when we become more relaxed, happier, more sociable, less aggressive, more loving and gregarious.

What is interesting is that alpha males have much healthier brains and bodies than most others so perhaps there was some truth when our friend here said he cured his PSSD through therapy after which he became an alpha male. Alright! Don't get mad now, as it appears that people who live the longest and have the healthiest brains are those that are less aggressive, easy going, more friendlily, warm hearted, and loving, as these people are the happiest.

Stress significantly lowers our life span but don't worry here either as this is tendency can be completely reversed when we heal from our traumas and misery after which we can then go on to live long and happy lives.

So, for me, it's back to self development then, and finding happiness. Something's gonna work one day.

But if you dislike baboons as much as I do you might find this documentary stressful.
