Guest guest
Hello Shelia, I’ m native speaker of spanish and I don’t think there is a formal abbreviation for that word, because it applies to certain words, particularly those which are frequent or refer to a mesure, etc. Anyhow I checked it out in “OrtografÃa de la lengua española†from RAE (Real Academia Española)and I didn’t find it. ll transcript four you a question I asked to Mr. Diez concerning the abbreviation of the word “contador†(acountant) and according to his answer you shoul use a comprehensible form for “mensajeâ€. Hope this helps you. Angélica. En la lista oficial de abreviaturas no aparece la de “contadorâ€. En estos casos, si es muy necesario y con tal que sea fácilmente entendible, se puede inventar una cualquiera; p. ej. “ctdorâ€. Saludos. Guest guest
Ho! Spanish abbreviation of " Mensaje " is MSJ, which is quite normal for a language highly marked by several centuries of Arabic influence, which means " taking the 3 mains consons in a word " , as every Arabic word is constructed on the basis of a what is called " a verbal root " (in French " racine " ) made of the 3 mains consons. Here are some examples of the use of MSJ : http://www.foromsn.com/index.php?Ver=Mensaje & Id=293289 http://www.psicofxp.com/forums/sony-ericsson.499/399296-k310a-no-recibe-msj-de-t\ exto.html Etc....
