Definitely ioxithalamic acid, .

Its salts (ioxithalamates) are used as iodinated contrast media (acide

ioxitalamique in French, hence the difference with/without " h " ): Telebrix

I'd be grateful for a link to an authoritative dictionary or a similar

source that could resolve my problem.

I think it must be without an h. However, as an ex-neurophysiologist, I

suspect there could be a relationship with " thalamus " .
