I went to the Asthma doctor after I had an episode after surgery that put me back in the hospital with my breathing shutting down. After reviewing everything the only thing we could come up with is that I was on a Toranol drip after surgery and when I came home I was on Ibupropen 800 mg around the clock every 8 hours. He cannot prove it because the testing for this is too severe. I understand that alot of asthmatics cannot tolerate anti inflammatory, not even aspirin. Also, I did not wheeze when I had the episode but I have never been a wheezer with my asthma. This was confusing to all the doctors. Is there anyone else out there with Asthma that does not wheeze much? I'm beginning to wonder if my episode was an asthmatic reaction or a chemical/drug reaction.
