Thanks for question, I would like to see this reply as

well. Does anyone have a list of services that

Medicaid pays for and the process of " getting " started

when you get your card? I didn't know if there was a

website like FAQ or if anyone got help with this?

I will try to answer this to the best of my ability. Medicaid has

two programs... Georgia Better Healthcare and an HMO plan... if you

do not choose the HMO plan you are automatically put on GBH. I have

no idea what the difference is.

As far as getting started using your card, I beleive you have to have

used up your services with your insurance before you can begin using

Medicaid... you will also want to verify that your doctor or

clinician accepts medicaid. We had an incident where the docotr we

wanted to see no longer acepted our insurance but we take our

medicaid... I told the doctor that would be fine but I am unsure if

Medicaid will like this or not since we have not reached our cap with

insurance.
