Dear a,

Thank you for the reassurance that Jonas will do it all in his own

time. I am sometimes intimidated I guess by well meaning grandparents who do

not understand why he just does not do this or that, as if we have not made

a sufficient effort. I bet if we worked on it day in and out and did

nothing else, he would get it quicker, but there are too many things to do

and not enough hours in the day to harp on all of them. My Dad, who is a

dear, thinks it is silly that he will not put solid food (not smooth) in his

mouth and tries all the time to get him to eat things. I just laugh as

Jonas runs quickly away from him. however likes the fact that Jonas

won't eat anything like a cookie or cereal etc. because when he is snacking

and Jonas comes around to bother him, he just holds out a piece of the food

for him toward his mouth and then Jonas leaves alone while he is

(Usually reading) and snacking! :)

You certainly have my prayers continually for Brannon that the 1/06/03

cardiologist appointment goes really well. We are seeing a real working of

the Lord in Jonas' little heart as his heart is in better and better shape

each time we go and the remaining hole is getting smaller and less

significant each time. I will pray that you all have the same blessing with

Brannon. Let me know how he does, and know that he is on my prayer list and

will be on our church's prayer chain too. Big hugs and kisses to Brannon

and Gabby too!

Blessings to your family,

Barb Martz
