As is so often the case, you said it so well, and so kindly. You and are our moral compasses over and over again. Always good to hear from you both.

Shirley

I agree with and I am honored to see my name mentioned along with yours.

Re: W's post

Good Morning W.: I just read your response and I think you had some wonderful words regarding other people's marriages and how we should not judge them. As the old indian saying goes - Don't judge someone until you have walked a mile in their moccasins. That is what I really like most about this forum - most of you are very kind and tolerant of other members shortcomings and we ALL have them. The Bible says there is not one of you perfect - no not one. Only Jesus was and is perfect. The rest of us should always strive for perfection BUT KNOW that we will never attain it here on this earth. We are commanded to "LOVE ONE ANOTHER" Even in that we fail a lot of times but we need to keep trying.I hope you all have a wonderful day. Shirley from Southern Illinois

Beth, Have you not seen my rants about Steve's proposed diet? We most definitely do not put him on a pedestal. Steve is a person with demons who is battling them, sometimes not very effectively. I think we regard Steve as a friend embarked on a journey, and are trying to be here for him and for each other. You claim to have read these emails, yet you have not seen the several things I and others have had to say, sometimes to great lengths, about his new diet. Maybe you are seeing what you choose to see. Not only do I not discuss Steve's marriage, but I do not discuss my friends, neighbors, or children's marriages because I consider it a useless exercise, poor taste and poor manners. I cannot possibly know the whole story, unless I wiretap or lurk outside windows in anyone else's marriage.
