Hi again, , bringing Naxia with us surely changed some things in my life. I never thought about the awfull situation of animals in southern European countries, although we have been to Greece a lot of times. We never saw many stray dogs, which is easily explained: Before tourists come (and after they are gone) they do something against them ... Poison them on smaller islands. Or put them in killing-stations. Dogs that are used for hunting - another problem: They *use* them one season and kill them afterwards. Of course it is not allowed, but who cares ... Anyway, I don't want to make this a subject here. What I want to say is, that it opened my eyes to see and that I became active in animal welfare (financially, not active). (Which is a problem all over the world, I guess, not only in South-Europe.) Petra labtrek1941
