Guest guest
Let's get things straight.SSRI-s act on serotonine which will affect many other chemicals in the brain. So we need to fix the cause not the symptoms of PSSD. Since I quit Paxil cold turkey I have slowly developed panic attacks and 1 year 3 months off the drug I now have panic disorder. The symptoms of low serotonine fits me therefore I was planning to boost my serotonine levels but then read about how low levels can cause premature ejaculation. Well in my case I had the first time sexual activity in my life 1 month ago and lasted for 2 and a half hours... I guess that means I have high serotonine? I also have soft glans syndrome. My plan was to use the activated form of vitamin B6,P5P. P5P converts directly into serotonine. If one has high serotonine levels it could have devastating effects. When I've read about ssri causes low dopamine the first thing I did is order L-Tyrosine,took 500 mg and suffered my first panic attack in life. Messing with neurotransmitters is never a good idea. But I have two choice: suffer with panic attacks and soft glans, social withdrawal, lack of self-esteem for the rest of my life or I try taking P5P,put my hands together and hold on for the ride in hope of making me feel my old self again. No doctor is willing to get my serotonine levels checked. Would you take the low dose 30mg P5P in my place? ps: thanks to stress I have developed GERD...thought headaches were bad, when you feel the acid burning your throat and feels like food gets stuck there and a hammer in your chest it's no fun.
