Guest guest
" there seems to be two that have horror stories about getting it out of the mold....sooooo any tips " Dolores: Not to fear, PVC and downspout both work just fine, you just have to know how to " finesse " the project! Take a saber saw and cut serpentine lines down both the sides of a 12 inch long plastic pipe, either round PVC or square downspout. I use the rounded cap for the round pipes, Saran Wrap for the square with rubber bands for the bottom ends. Line them with either coated butcher paper or transparency sheets from your office supply store, and put a couple heavy duty rubber bands around the mold to hold it together. Pour in your favorite soap concoction. After it has set the designated amount of time (I let mine set 48 hours), take off the rubber bands and the liner and you will have perfect soaps! Slice them like you would a loaf of bread. Either that, or I have the magic touch, it works every time for me! Let me know how this works if you try it, please.
