tingling in legs while breastfeeding

Hi again

I’ve put some of my thoughts together:

Anatomically speaking, I am unaware that there is anything (eg nerves, vessels etc) that is directly connects the breast and the legs. When someone has tingling in their legs, it is usually as a result of neural structures in ones lower back (lumbar spine), or could be a neural tension issue to do with tension being placed on dural tissue (tissue that surrounds all components of our central nervous system). So perhaps it has something to do with the position that she breastfeeds in, rather than anything to do with breastfeeding itself. I would suggest trying different breastfeeding positions, eg sidelying (avoiding a slumped position) as this would help to minimise any effect to her lumbar spine or dural structures.

How does this sound?

Warm regards

Kam
