Regarding Gilbert's I have never been successful, but remission time has been longer.I do use Carduus, but as you know I make my own, I find it works better from making it from the powdered seeds, rather than the whole seeds, my carduus comes out as a thick beige tincture, and there is a covering of oil. Herbal tinctures - Trillium, Hydrastis both small amounts, Yes I know we are not encouraged to use these herbs, but they work wonderfully with menorrhagia.Viburnum op and Viburnum prun., Aletris and Collonsonia. Prehaps you could make up a heavy bleeding formula, to take during the period. Seagreens wild Seaweed food capsules, have a wide range of vitamins and minerals, may be worth considering, again I can send you more info if required. If you would like to try my Carduus, I can send you some, hope this will help you. Good luck Tina. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Was the salesman clueless?
