Hi, . I called my dr. Monday from work, and he upped my Advair to the

500 dosage, and prescribed the Albuterol for the nebulizer, which I am using

every morning and evening. It has greatly helped. I was so sore on Monday my

whole chest wall hurt when I coughed, laughed, etc. You get the picture. It

is so nice to be able to share with those who really understand what it is

like, like on my Fibro group. I am still coughing, but feel much better,

thank you.

I am so glad you got that and that it is working for you.

I have an upper respiratory infection now, my step-dad passed away yesterday, and the combination of stress and the virus are giving me a hard time. There are a lot of smokers at my Mom's, and even though they go outside to smoke, just the lingering smells on the clothes are hard on me. I have really started in wheezing and coughing a lot if I breathe too hard, laugh, etc. I was already using albuterol in the nebulizer at least 4x day, and now more.

I got a rx for a prednisone burst if I should need it, and am wondering whether or not to go ahead and start it. My peak flows are dropping. I just had a steroid shot a week ago, so I don't know.

Any advice?
