Guest guest
Bob, The last post you tried to post to Maureen about end stage liver was, for some reason rejected as spam. Can you repost it? For some reason Yahoo identifies some posts as spam and the moderators have to manually clear them but when I went to do this it had already been deleted. MaC Bob Aragon wrote: Gail Ann, I'm so sorry you are having pain. I hope the surgical consult goes ok, and they figure out what to do soon. I had to do this last summer, and thankfully even though I spent 4 days in the hospital, I didn't have to have surgery. It was good that I was watched carefully. I had developed air bubbles in the lining of my colon, and it looked as if it might die, and have to be removed. This pain is worrisome if it is so severe. I hope they can figure this out soon. --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
I run about 25 Yahoo groups and this happens frequently. Just another Yahoo glitch. Guest guest
If you don't have the original message I can cut and paste the post from the auto generated email from Yahoo. Let me know. Guest guest
Just to clear things up, the owner of the group does occasional remove messages identified as spam. MaC MsTigerHawk wrote: No message should get deleted, even if Yahoo identifies it as possible spam. The moderators get a message and are to go in and approve or reject the message. If it's not spam, then it gets approved. I haven't seen any spam on this group yet. Once the moderator approves the message, it is supposed to get distributed to the group. Guest guest
Really? I didn't know that. Doesn't she look at the messages first? Guest guest
Bob -- every time yours comes in on the Blackberry, I wonder what you're doing in Mobile! Funny how when the computers are so ultra step-by-step, they still have those idiosyncrasies! My fonts messed up right after someone here mentioned their problem! And all the messages on this list come in twice . . . but only sometimes! And that's not all! Sometimes I think the machine is haunted! Vote KUCINICH The only candidate who CAN run on his RECORD! The only candidate in favor of liberty for ALL. The only candidate working to make YOUR VOTE COUNT! The only candidate working to STOP the NUKES! Re: Bob rejected post I don't know why, but if you have ultimate control, then it's not a problem, and in fact yesterday, I just cut and pasted, and it went through, Yahoo acts funny a lot, like for me, I can't paste anything, unless I go left of the first word on the page, left of the cursor, and right click from there, other wise it highlights everything. Gmail is sooooo much easier, and thats why my real email is there, this one is only for this group. Re: Bob rejected post I'm not sure. I notice a lot of Bob's messages get flagged as spam. I don't know if it's because he's posting from the Blackberry our not. I know you and I go in and know right away they're not spam because we know who's posting them. But I noticed a couple she has rejected, so it may be that she just sees it identified as spam and clicks on reject in her email. I'm not really sure. I know that you and I are pretty good at catching them though and approving them. I have rejected a couple, one from someone that seemed to be trying to sell something for Hep C. It was a post with about 50 links. All I did was ask that the person provide a message with the post, but the member never replied or tried to repost. Guest guest
I'm lying in bed with oxygen, my laptop is in the living rm, and I just wanted to lie down before my afternoon long acting pain pill. If I stay still, there is less pain. Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile Re: Bob rejected post I don't know why, but if you have ultimate control, then it's not a problem, and in fact yesterday, I just cut and pasted, and it went through, Yahoo acts funny a lot, like for me, I can't paste anything, unless I go left of the first word on the page, left of the cursor, and right click from there, other wise it highlights everything.
