Guest guest
Dear Annette, It sounds like excess heat could be a factor: cooling herbs such as bitters & Tilia may be beneficial, and avoid all heating or spicy herbs and foods such as curries, chili, ginger etc. and also roasted meats and alcohol. It may be an idea to prescribe teas (which can be made in bulk and drunk cold) rather than tinctures. Wearing cool, loose clothing made with natural fibres may also help. It would be interesting to note whether he experiences acid dyspepsia or reflux, in which case Filipendula or low dose Acorus might be useful. Hormonal imbalance may also be a factor in which case something like Humulus may help to calm things down.
