Guest guest
Welcome Jay, I was caregiver to my mom (74), who passed in February from non alcoholic cirrhosis. She was diagnosed with NASH about 30 yrs ago. I'm glad to hear you are receiving treatment for your liver disease. Pamela Good morning everyone I just wanted to introduce myself to the group, I have been diagnoses with cirrohsis almost 4 years ago at age 25. It has been only been diagnoses as NASH. I am currently receiving my treatment from the Veterans Administration, and have been on the transplant list for almost 2 years. My MELD score has been between a 10-12 for the last few months, but it had been as high as 16. I also work for the Veterans Benefits Administration, so if there are any Vets in this group that need any information regarding benefits, or services available please let me know. I can't answer specific questions regarding an individuals case, but I can try to help anyone understand the VA requirements. I wish everyone the best of health, and have a great day lets enjoy it. Regards, Jay
