Jodoco,

Thank you for those kind words today. I had some really bad stuff happen this

evening and I needed to hear that from someone. It is a pleasure to hear from

you. I understand about the pain and APPLAUD you for still working. I am unable

to work, drive and sometimes walk. So you are an inspiration to me.

Thank you again and prayers are coming at ya.

God Bless,

Tricia

Nice to see all the new faces! Welcome-welcome-welcome!! i guess or

assume that some of you think i just fell off the turnip truck and

popped in just the other day to stick my nose in. actuallly i became a

member here right before the owner left. she was so nice and

uplifting and welcoming,,,anyway i come here often to see whats up,

and sometimes feel like posting and other times not.,,

Bob, thank you for sharing the codeblue site, and have read some of it

so far, wow-very enlightening! also, you definitely have me thinking

about the blogging or maybe just creating another group. still

pondering right now.

Tricia, you are so sweet, your words are very comforting. about the

journaling, i do have a kind of spiritual notebook that i go to often,

i have heard of some people who leave personal videos for their

children and family to have when the time comes. i dont have a video a

video cam and dont think i could do that anyway. but for the people

who do i have much respect for them.

Abijann, i add my thoughts and prayers for you too, hope to " see ya "

soon.

If anyone might want to chat feel free to IM and or email me. if i can

support you or just be a shoulder or a prayer partner-

i still push myself to work, out of sheer necessity, and trying to pay

the bills. it gets so hard sometimes, i am in pain all the time, i

keep looking upward and leaning on God for the strength. He is so

faithful.

Hi -- that's a big goiter! We'll be thinking of you and

keeping fingers crossed. I mentioned another Yahoo group recently for

people undergoing or considering thyroid surgery -- the group is just

called " thyroidectomy " -- I would suggest joining, there are a lot of

members who can give support.

Take good care!

Hi , I wish you all the very best with the total thyroidectomy. LorraineAustralia wrote: It has been a while since I posted and I apologize for that! I just wanted to update the group on my situation and ask if anyone has any last minute advice for me. I am having a total thyroidectomy tomorrow...my ENT decided a few weeks ago that my thyroid needs to come out. I have Hashimoto's and my goiter have doubled in size since my ultrasound 6 months ago. It is 10.3cm wide and

2cm deep. The right lobe is 5.0cm and the left lobe is 5.3cm. We gave coservative therapy a shot, but it didn't work and my swallowing and breathing problems are getting worse. My voice is so hoarse that it is affecting my job performance. *sigh* Anyways, that is the short version...I appreciate any last minute advice from those who have been through this procedure or who had a loved one go through it. Thanks!
