Guest guest
My target is Swedish, but translations in other Germanic or Romance languages might be of help, as well as a precise definition in Swedish. I know that this is an X-ray finding observed e.g. in many skeletal dysplasias or, as in my text, as a bone manifestation of Gaucher disease. But I don't know what it's called in Swedish, and all my usual contacts in radiology and orthopedics seem to be on holiday right now. I do know what the metaphyses of bones are, but it's the term " flaring " that I don't know what to call in Swedish. MTIA for any suggestions. Folke Folke A. Nettelblad, B.Med., B.Sc.
