Guest guest
For the most part, I really dont know. She is confused alot and sleeps all the time. The fatigue has taken over... She is not who she used to be, and thats the sad part about it. I am confused alot about this illness.... and for the most part, it really hurts seeing her go through all of this. Guest guest
MaC has a very accurate point. ANYONE who has decompensated liver disease should be evaluated for a liver transplant at a transplant hospital. The final decision is made by the transplant team. No other doctor or health care professional has the authority to make this decision. Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile Re: Greg The doctor tookher off the lactulose... tonight she is having pains in the back, i believe the opposite of where the liver is located.. she has slept all day.... not waking up much at all...... yes, she has been evaluted for liver transplant... they said its not time yet.. that she is deferred at this time.. her feet are the size of a balloon.... we are contiue to monitor this.. thanks for replying Mac... I appreciate the support.... how old is your wife ? MaC <mac0184yahoo (DOT) <mailto:mac0184%40yahoo.com> com> wrote: It's the encephalopathy that causes the confusion and the reversed sleep pattern. I watched my wife go through this as well. Make sure she takes her lactulose. My heart goes out to you. It's a tough disease to watch someone go through.
