Guest guest
Does anyone know whether the kind of salt used with the Neti Pot is important, or is table salt okay? Does anyone recommend using good quality salt like Celtic Sea Salt? Guest guest
Bee, Celtic salt is not recommended for neti, because it contains other minerals besides sodium chloride. Sea salt is good, or pickling salt. -
Guest guest
No one really said so I bought some Netipot Salt at the same time I bought the neti pot. Under ingredients it reads: USP grade salt. Other places on the jar reads " Pure non-iodized salt, no additives or caking agents, pharmaceutical grade " . Does that tell you if we could use celtic sea salt? For some reason I cannot bring up the site that so has the best info about it. It's www.jalanetipot.com Del > > >>You want the salt water at the " isometric " point ... that is, > when it is > > the same > > as your blood saline.
