Dear Wanita,

That's really funny. Ha ha ha. I guess you can get a lot of the pee

out by soaking them overnight in salt water, which would lessen the

smell while boiling.

Hi Wanita,

Funny story! Thanks for starting my day with a chuckle.

I have some pork kidneys which I got the day the pig was slaughtered.

I removed the outer casing and froze them right away. Will they be

okay to eat if I defrost and them and then soak them in salt water?

How long should I soak them to get rid of the pee taste? Yuk!

Dear Bee,

Am sure she soaked them for her dishes. Dad was teasing. Almost remember she

had a lot of cats and would feed some kidney to them too. She may have got

more from him from the slaughterhouse other than the ones we raised for

maybe raw feeding her cats. Cats were real healthy and prolific.
