I do like the whole form of a herb is possible as well as teas. Certain

herbs like dandelion, dandelion leaf, nettle, cleavers etc I prefer as

teas. The tourble sometimes is administration - and I don't drink that

much liquid - still it is energy too not just quantity. Using tablets

and powders, and capsules (I am not a tincture fan though some are - I

don't like the alcohol or the glycerine though some herbs are more

soluable that way or aspects of them are more soluable in alcohol than

water) is more isolated but also more potent for some conditons or when

you want a fast and replicable effect. The bigger the front the bigger

the back. you do have to be more aware of interactions, medication,

condition and also the cumulative effect of what the individial is

taking. one herb on its own may not be too yin or too yang but if

taking severel....

Another herb that seems to work well as a tea is a blend of two south

american herbs - called Milagor De Sal Selva which I have been drinking

- it has phenomenol effects for type 2 diabetes and although I have

type 1 and dont notice immediate beenfits it has some general

protective qualities - and I really like it now - it has kind of the

taste of cloves without any heat at all mixed with the taste of good

bancha. Really nice!

I have heard there is a new more bioavailable form of Milk Thistle -

Purecaps make it as well as some other companies. I am really impressed

by their quality
