Mercola is correct, grains ARE the big issue currently, but it is easier for most folks to just give up " carbs " for a bit. Plus you get this huge weight loss quickly (and the lack of carbs helps quickly for diabetes and probably ups the immune system, which is good for cancer) and Atkins is gaining " brand recognition " so it is an easy sell.
