Guest guest
> It looks OK to me. Of course, quality counts!!! And I wouldn't eat as many grains. I would also take cod liver oil, butter oil, vitamin C, and folic acid every day and avoid prenatal supplements with iron added. The WAP site has its own version of pregnancy guidelines that are better, IMO: > > http://www.westonaprice.org/children/dietformothers.html > > ########## Thank you very much. I'll be taking a closer look at the website and I've already ordered the book. Why not the supplements with iron??? Magda
Guest guest
Why not the supplements with iron??? Magda ***************************************** My understanding is that iron in supplements destroys vitamin E--get your iron (and most other vitamins and minerals) from food for maximum bioavailability: meat, eggs, etc. Your doctor will probably try to get you to buy expensive prescription prenatal supplements. Sorry--I don't have time to find references, etc.
