Guest guest
Shadowcatcher, good day to you. You remind me of the old song, " Let's face the music and dance, dance, dance " . I loved your poem about MS in a bottle. Just the right spirit! And I'll take the gin, too. I grow limp with the sound of your " piano and the flute and two violins " . And every dance is quite worthwhile. Bring it home, S.C. Your fan, ('lady of almost any age')
Guest guest
Good morning, I awake once more in my reflecting twi-light years. My tears have dried, my passion has died, and my fears have flown away. I have found a certain rhythm resonating in this old body that has been hidden for many years, and when I am alone I let it loose and dance. And for a few moments this tired flesh, these old bones, are young again. This motion, this rhythm is universal like the dance of Sheva, or the Dionysian dance. The Masculine belongs to each woman, as the Feminine belongs to each man. Animus & Anima.--- While Demeter, the Mother, belongs to All. Her way is the way of all Knights of the Sun, seekers of eternal life---of Gilgamesch, Heracles, Enoch---the way of the sun from the East to the West. Only in the West will the goddess find what she seeks. The West, Hesperus, the god of the Evening Star, will show her the way into the kingdom of the dead and give her Living Water. With it, she will descend into Hades, and, after reurrecting Kore, will conduct her out of Hades: The first world will be saved by the second; and if this shall perish, it will be saved by the third. Earth is our Mother, even as Kali, the Divine Mother, which is the symbol for the infinite diversity of experience. Kali represents the entire physical plane. She is the brother, father, sister, mother, lover and friend. She is the Womb and the Tomb, she is the fiend, monster, beast and brute. She is the sun and the ocean. She is the grass and the dew. She is our sense of doing worthwhile. Our thrill of discovery is a pendant on her braclet. Our gradification is a spot of color on her cheek. Our sense of importance is a bell on her toes, that rings when she dances, " Our Father, " begins and ends each Cycle of our everlasting Life. That is why I Dance. Those who remain tricked by 'Glamor' -----caught-up in the illusion of separation, shall remain Earth-bound. ~~~~~~~ Regards S.C.
