Hello everyone from Moon Hill Highland Farm where the cows are hairy and the

sheep are

bald. Having read the most recent 500 posts I can only wish I hadn't flunked my

chemistry and

science classes - sad to say it was all greek to me and it still is.

I've long held the belief that modern-day food and environment are the main

causes of what ails

people and was happy to finally discover the WAPF website and, subsequently, the

Beyond

Price board and this one. I have my work cut out for me!

My main focus will be on getting myself and my husband healthy. Once that's

accomplished I'd

like to move the focus to steering others in the same direction through example

and education.

My first question to you all is super simple but I have to start somewhere so

please humor me.

What method or item do you advocate to obtain clean water?

We're on city water and, over the years, have lugged home thousands of gallons

of

osmosis-treated water from the supermarket for straight drinking purposes - we

cook and make

coffee and tea with the city water. Our animals are on city water as well. I'd

like for all of us to

have a continuous supply of clean water but my research stops at the domestic

under-the-sink

osmosis contraption which, I've read, goes through six gallons of water to

manufacture one

gallon of clean water. This would take our water bill to about the same level as

our mortgage -

not a good thing.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all a bit better and will be happy to

follow up on any

or all suggestions. :-)

Marjon
