I'm north of Seattle. I actually saw a kit for a nice

greenhouse (plastic) in a commercial catalog for about

$250 -- price really isn't the issue, it is TIME.

We are actually thinking of encasing our big deck

and making it a sunroom, which would have plenty of room

for salad greens and tomatoes and such, and it would

be easy access too.

All it really takes is some plastic sheeting and

a framework. We have all these downed alders, an

alder-pole outbuilding sure would be cute ...
