Introduction and many questions

I just realized I posted questions with no introduction. Ooops - will

fix that right now...

Hello everyone, my name is Magda and I live in Atlanta, GA with my

hubby of 2+ years, Vladi, and my 2+ yr old GSD named Kayla. I heard

about this group from a friend of mine who runs a raw meat co-op for

dogs/cats and a raw dairy co-op as well. I don't have the book yet,

but it's on the way. And I just got my first order of raw dairy - I'm

hooked.

Anyways, I'm 10 weeks pregnant and looking to optimize my diet. I

decided to quit doing the low-fat thing recently and I've also began

to include more organic food in our diet. I was just told about the

WP pregnancy diet and had some questions.

1. Is it really safe to eat 2 eggs a day? I have borderline high

cholesterol.

2. I just can't make myself eat liver. Any other sources for vit A

(and whatever else liver has)? I can eat pate so I guess that's

something...

3. Do sardines and sprats count as oily fish?? I eat the canned stuff.

4. Where can I get coconut oil??

5. I'm trying to avoid white sugar altogether. I don't really bake

and have not been eating sweets save for occasional piece of

chocolate. I only eat 4 to 6 tsps a day in my tea. Any good

substitutes for white sugar? I don't really like honey.

6. Should I take additional vitamin C since I'm drinking plenty of

orange juice, tomatoes and other good sources?

Any other tips/suggestions you may have will be greatly appreciated.

I have nixed the prenatal vitamins and just plan to focus on a good

diet. Once I get the book, I promise to read it quickly.

Thank you,

Magda
