Coconut oil in Atlanta can be found at Life Grocery in Marietta. I buy

Wilderness Families Naturals. It is extra virgin. Very tasty, I eat by the

spoonful. Also good in oatmeal. They also carry eggs from Whileaway Farms

which are local and free range. Beware of all the package food in this place

they are really into soy (not NT) and they tend to push the vegan way of eating

(hence all the soy).

Where are you in Atlanta? There is a good farmers market south of town and one

in clarkston (east side). There is a Whole Foods (Harry's) in Marietta and

another on the northeast side of Atlanta.

Amy in Hiram (thats on the westside)

######## I'm in Marietta, East Cobb, just off 575-75 split. I've been

to the Dekalb International Farmer's Market in ston many times

(LOVE IT) but not since being on this group. I've also been to

Harry's several times (but didn't see coconut oil). I did buy good

eggs from them, though.

Please share any other local sources you know off - much

appreciated !!!

Harry's only carries Spectrum brand oil and it is YUCKY, overprocessed. The

www.GA_WPF.com is the place to start looking for raw dairy. Just send out an

e-mail asking for raw dairy. It is sold as a pet food product around here.

Some of the farmers are looking at starting a cow share program this year.

Hodge Common Sense Beef have grass fed/finished beef. No hormone or

antibiotics. Sustainable pasture farming with no pesticides. They are humane.

(770)854-5614. When I think of something else I will let you know.

You live close to my mom. She is on Hwy 92 near trickum.

########## I'm already on it and got my first order of raw dairy

this past weekend. I also got a scoop on some local sources of

chicken, pork and beef (all pasture-fed).
