Guest guest
I was taking the Black cohosh and Chaste tree as separate caps and one other that I can't remember right now. For a while I was taking the combo Estroven, and it seemed to work for a while. After what happened last week, I won't be taking either again. I may try the evening primrose oil tho as I've heard about it before but never got around to it. I really need something to stop the night sweats/hot flashes so I can get some decent sleep. Some nites when DH so much as even touches me in bed, I feel like I'm on fire, and I don't mean sexually. Very uncomfortable. I am doing CO and kefir a lot and good eggs (when I can get them - 2 friends with chickens, but not many eggs right now). Our weather hasn't been anywhere near as severe as yours. It was around 0* for a day or 2 and the wind was blowing from the direction that seems to suck the heat right up the chimney. But now my firebug DH can get the house around 80* if I don't reign him in. Hi Carol EPO needs to be taken for around 3 months before you start to see any effect. IMO, it is worthwhile. Have you considered seeing an alternative health practitioner? A herbalist or homeopath?
