Guest guest
The advertisement for Zocor reads: " Zocor is the first and only cholesterol lowering medication proven to significantly reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with heart disease or diabetes - regardless of cholesterol level. " Doesn't the last statement sort of say that your cholesterol level doesn't matter - and one could conclude that they do not need Zocor anyway? Whatever it means, I find it amusing. Guest guest
It would be amusing if the cholesterol drugs were not damaging so many people. The disadvantages far outweigh any supposed advantages. Have you read Ravnskov's book? He explains all the hype very well, especially the statistics that are supposed to " prove " benefit. Guest guest
I didn't mean that it was amusing in regard to those who take that class of medications. My father takes one and I have yet to convince him to stop. I have read portions of that book.
