No matter how absurd or destructive the policies which the left

recommends might be, I have always given them the benefit of the doubt

in assuming that, for the most part, their beliefs are grounded in

sincere ignorance. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the same

basic courtesy in return. The same goes for all the rest of you who have

expressed similar sentiments in the past. I've had enough of these

self-righteous attacks on our integrity.

You give every leftist that benefit of the doubt, regardless of what he or

she says? That strikes me as foolish. They're are plenty of leftists just

full to the brimming of ill intent.

With the exception of Gene's comments about and 's comments

about me, nobody here has attacked anyone on this list. Some of us say

that some advocates of libertarianism are not honest. That doesn't mean we

believe _you_ aren't honest. And if you really believe that all

self-professed libertarians are lily-pure, I have a bridge to sell you.
