-----> Jo I just re-read your post and saw you already answered some

of my questions. No form of dairy works for you! Hmmmmm....I wonder

if the hormones in dairy are more reacting with the ever prevasive

enviromental toxic hormones for a cumulative effect with our breasts

being the first sign of this.

I would like to collect all this menopause info (and others) and put

it into a file marked women's hormonal imbalances. I think it would

be real helpful. If you don't mind please send me any other

hormonals stuff you've discovered and I'll do an archive search for

other useful posts, then consolidate them.

Lynn,

Good Idea about making a file. I'll send you anything I can figure out.

About the only thing I have now is that last year when I had the

check-up, an ultrasound found a fibroid on the uterus. But the Dr wasn't

too concerned about it. Said that when the hormones go totally

menopausal the fibroid should shrink. I have heard the fact that I'm

over weight isn't helping to even out the hormones as the fat can store

the estrogen.

Also I seem to be very sensitive to the estrogen stuff since only a

couple of days of the HRT (supposedly natural est) and a couple of days

now of the Black Cohosh, and I went from a furnace to an ice cube. Over

kill. I haven't had much libido (desire) for about 20 years and that

didn't help.

I too am using a lot of milk, mostly as kefir now, but it has never

bothered me that I can see. I had painful periods most of my life, tho

worse when teen and twentys. Almost never have had tender breasts. I do

have a bit of endometrosis (as seen during appendectomy at 35). Many

years ago a Dr had me cut out dairy for a while to see if it had

anything to do with my IBS, but it didn't seem to. My IBS is somewhat

cycle related, but I believe is mostly related to my fibromialgia.
