Projections and Intent

Hi All,

Suzanne, I agree, the collective shadow projection can be a most

dangerous and untidy place. It was me you were referring to, and

in light of this, it is our responsibility both to ourselves and to

the whole to look at our own darkest shadows. I just saw my

brother's shadow projected onto me, and it is like a ghoul,

like my eight year old son has taken a flash light and shone

it upon images to cast shadows on the wall. It is so interesting

to see how fast we see others, and how slow we see ourselves,

mea culpa. So, yes, we agree, I found it intriguing how rapidly

you picked this up and moved it forward.

fa, yes, agree, intent is everything. Clear intent on one's

part is part of our discernment. But as a wise old friend of

mine often says, " fake it until you make it, " not you, of course,

but in general, it is better to bite one's tongue, because

amazingly, most people are doing the best they can with the

best they have. And, if I see something in error, it is probably

my lack of ability to gaze with sufficient depth at another, my

own lack of understanding and tolerance - not to mention

patience.

Merry, beautiful story. It is amazing what small acts of kindness

done with consistency can do to shape another's life. Sometimes

just a passing book, a thought, a smile, a laugh, can change

a person's life, transform it completely. Perhaps you brought

that cast out shadow of ours back into the warmth of the light.

Oh, finally, I have alot of requests for the Ishtar-Innana story and

I haven't read it since I knocked out a rough draft back in April.

So, I was really surprised, I thought I would get, maximum, one

request. Let me please at least read what nonsense I wrote
