Guest guest
Hmmm. And now they are about run into the low-carb craze. This could get interesting. I expect much drum banging about the " dangers " of low carb eating. The sugar industry has had it too good for much too long. Oh it's dangerous, alright. Four months ago I put myself on my own intuitive version of the Southbeach Diet where the only carb foods I eat are fruit, nuts, veggies, and a small amount of sprouted grain bread. My main meal of the day at midday is usually a large salad with ~6oz of animal protein, and it satisfies my hunger for 6-7 hours with no disruptive blood sugar swings. My morning and evening meals are basically small snacks. All of a sudden, I was no longer chained to the hypoglycemic rollercoaster, and I started losing weight and having more energy and vitality than at any other time in my 42 years. Instead of sitting on my butt all day, I now crave exercise and have started weight training. My clothes fit again, and my beloved innertube and manboobs are gone. It's horrible, I tell you! And dangerous!
Guest guest
LOL I love it! And so true. And the Establishment knows just how dangerous that way of eating is to the bottom lines of the drug and medical establishments.
