Guest guest
My friend gets pain in her lower left abdomen after she eats any kind of meat. She said the pain is " down low, near my pelvis " . I can only think that this is intestinal. She was a veggie for 20 years and I have just talked her into meat eating. She's wondering if it's low stomach acid and is going to try HCl. Any other ideas? TIA, Filippa
Guest guest
I have low HCI and used to get a pain when I ate large amounts of protein(veggie too). Probiotics, pancreatic enzymes, and HCI helped alot. The food would feel stuck without them. Also, eating a salad first helped, too. take care, Michele >From: " Filippa " <filippa91@...> >Reply- >< > >Subject: pain after eating meat >Date: Mon, 19 Jan 2004 21:19:25 +1000 > >My friend gets pain in her lower left abdomen after she eats any kind of >meat. Michele, thanks for your reply. Where did you get the pain? if it was gallbladder area or stomach (and therefore gallbladder related), I could understand it but lower left abdomen just doesn't make sense to me. Thanks, Filippa
Guest guest
Hi Filippa. Mine was the worst around the belly button area, but my friend who tried eating raw and then ate two pounds of walnuts in one sitting had his on the side. >From: " Filippa " <filippa91@...> >Reply- >< > >Subject: Re: pain after eating meat >Date: Tue, 20 Jan 2004 20:59:32 +1000 > >From: " the scorpio " <rawbabymama@...> > > I have low HCI and used to get a pain when I ate large amounts of > > protein(veggie too). > >Michele, thanks for your reply. So I guess it's some kind of intestinal reaction. Weird. Hopefully the HCl will help her out. - Filippa
