interesting...my 1 lb. looks to be about 2 cups.

this brand has 1% sodium in a 1 lb. container. don't know how much

no msg added, according to the website.

whoda thunk you could find authentic hand-made korean kimchi in the heart of

vermont? LOL! just glad i can get it at two local markets :-)

you totally can - there's actually a lot of lacto-fermentation that goes on

around here. the flack family farm in particular makes awesome kimchi...

Doesn't it depend how tightly you pack it in those

cups?

I followed Sally's recipe for Kimchi. The serving

size states " makes 2 quarts " , but the instructions

clearly state to use a 1 quart jar! Just a typo? Or

the difference between packing it in and serving it

loosely in a bowl?

probably, but it might also depend on how much juice is in there too, as i

think mike mentioned. and perhaps the combo of veggies - heavier ones vs.

lighter ones, etc.
