The easiest thing to do would be to use a browser with which you can sort the

emails by subject. That way, if you are uninterested in a given thread, say,

" money and health, " all of them will appear together, and you can delete them

in one string, and it will be easier to spot the subjects about which you

want to read.

Unfortunately, not all email clients do this, but perhaps some folks may have

the capability without even realizing it.

I have to agree with Anita and others as well. I love this forum, I have

learned SO much, but lately I find that I am spending more time deleting

messages then reading. My mailbox becomes overwhelmed in just one evening

missed, and I have to either weed through 250 emails and find the 10-20 that

are informative, or just delete the whole mess and hope I don't miss

something. I love a good debate, but I have really been contemplating going

to no emails which I know will mean that I miss a ton of great information

in the future.....I hate browsing the message boards...much harder to keep

up with threads for me.

Just my opinion of course

If you set up a filter for " OFF TOPIC " and we all agree to use that term

in the header you can automatically delete them ... I'm trying to hold

to a NY resolution and cut down on my politics ... yeah, and maybe

keep my kimchi usage down ...
